Cosmelan® peel

Cosmelan® is an advanced two-phase depigmentation treatment program designed to improve the appearance of pigmentation and promote a clearer, more even-looking complexion.

The program consists of an in-clinic treatment phase, including a personalised skin preparation treatment and professional Cosmelan® peel, followed by a post-peel home care phase with a tailored home care program to support ongoing results. A follow-up LED treatment is also included to support skin recovery throughout the treatment journey. Treatment suitability is determined during a comprehensive consultation, where preparation requirements and the treatment process will be discussed.

Treatment suitability is determined following consultation and assessment.

This treatment may be suitable for:

  • Uneven skin tone

  • Visible pigmentation concerns

  • Sun-related pigmentation

  • Hormonal pigmentation

  • Post-inflammatory pigmentation

  • Overall skin clarity and brightness concerns

Treatment considerations include:

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Active skin infection, irritation, or impaired skin integrity

  • Recent cosmetic procedures in the treatment area

  • Certain allergies or medical conditions

  • Individual treatment contraindications as determined by your medical practitioner

Begin with a comprehensive consultation and skin assessment to determine whether Cosmelan® is appropriate for your individual concerns. Your practitioner will assess your skin, review your medical history and current skincare routine, and discuss the treatment process, preparation requirements, expected recovery, aftercare, and potential risks and side effects to support informed decision-making.

The Cosmelan® program is completed in two phases. The in-clinic treatment phase begins with a personalised skin preparation treatment, followed by the professional Cosmelan® peel. The post-peel home care phase includes a structured home care program designed to support the skin throughout the recovery process and optimise treatment outcomes. A follow-up LED treatment is also included to support skin healing and recovery.

In the days following the in-clinic peel, it is common to experience redness, tightness, dryness, flaking, and peeling as the skin undergoes its natural renewal process. The intensity and duration of these effects vary between individuals.

Strict adherence to the recommended home care program and daily sun protection is essential throughout treatment. Depending on your individual concerns and response to treatment, ongoing maintenance or additional treatments may be recommended as part of your personalised treatment plan.

Individual experiences and outcomes vary. All treatments are subject to consultation, clinical assessment, and suitability determination. Potential risks, side effects, aftercare requirements, and expected recovery will be discussed during your consultation.
