During Pico pigment laser treatment, you may experience a warm snapping sensation as short pulses of laser energy target areas of pigmentation. The treatment is generally well tolerated, with temporary redness, mild swelling, or a sunburn-like sensation commonly experienced following treatment.
It is normal for treated pigmentation to temporarily darken over the days following treatment before gradually fading. In some cases, mild flaking or shedding of pigmented areas may occur as the skin naturally renews and eliminates fragmented pigment. Recovery varies depending on the type and depth of pigmentation being treated.
A course of treatments is often recommended for optimal outcomes. Results develop gradually over time as the skin responds to treatment and pigment is progressively cleared. Results vary between individuals. All treatments are subject to consultation and suitability assessment.
