Tattoo removal

Our Tattoo Removal treatments utilise advanced picosecond laser technology to support the gradual fading of unwanted tattoos by targeting ink particles and assisting the body's natural clearance processes over time. Treatment plans are tailored to the individual, taking into consideration factors such as tattoo size, colour, age, location, skin type, and treatment goals.

For individuals seeking a more advanced approach, our Tattoo Removal+ treatment incorporates FracTAT™ technology, combining fractional laser energy with targeted tattoo removal to support enhanced ink fragmentation and clearance. This specialised technique is designed to assist with more challenging or resistant tattoos while supporting skin recovery and overall skin quality throughout the removal process.

Multiple treatments are typically required for both Tattoo Removal and Tattoo Removal+, with treatment response influenced by factors such as tattoo characteristics, depth, ink composition, and individual healing. A consultation is required to determine treatment suitability. Individual results and experiences may vary.

This treatment may be suitable for:

  • Unwanted tattoos

  • Tattoo fading prior to cover-up work

  • Cosmetic tattoo removal (where appropriate)

  • Individuals seeking non-surgical tattoo removal options

Treatment considerations include:

  • A history of abnormal scarring or keloid formation

  • Certain tattoo colours, cosmetic tattoos, or tattoo characteristics that may influence treatment suitability and response

  • Pregnancy or breastfeeding

  • Active skin infection

  • Certain allergies or medical conditions

  • Individual treatment contraindications as determined by your medical practitioner

Begin with a personalised skin consultation and assessment. Our qualified practitioners will guide you through the treatment process, including aftercare, expected recovery, and potential risks and side effects to support informed decision-making.

A topical numbing cream is applied prior to treatment to support comfort. During laser tattoo removal, you may experience a snapping sensation as targeted energy breaks down pigment in the skin. The treatment is generally well tolerated, with temporary redness, swelling, and sensitivity common following treatment.

A course of treatments is required for optimal outcomes, with results varying depending on factors such as ink colour, depth, and individual response. Pigment gradually fades over a series of sessions as the body naturally clears the particles.

Results vary between individuals. All treatments are subject to consultation and suitability assessment.
